Migraines, headaches, poor concentration, neck pain, upper and lower back pain, weak arm strength, inability to move arms, neck or shoulders freely can all be as a result of long-term stress, tension and toxicity in the body. Stiffness, back spasms, pain and inflammation, are all often as a result of a build-up of lactic acid, congestion and lymph in the muscles. The other important factor to note is if your lower back is tight it can pull on your neck and upper back muscles too. Injury, poor posture, stress, tension, enzymes, diet and exercise can all play a huge role in the ability of muscles to be able to work properly.

Hiatus means gap and Herniation means a state of rupture through the wall of that which normally contains it. Your stomach sits below the diaphragm with the oesophagus (your digestive tract from your mouth to your stomach) running up through the centre of it.
What Causes Hiatal Hernia?
Eating meals which are too large for the stomach…eating too quickly whereby the stomach cannot break down the food quickly enough so the stomach expands.
Poor posture…is a huge issue where people eat slumped over the table or on a soft sofa, with their shoulders forward and their backs in a C Curve. This results in all of the internal organs being compressed.

I always work in my bare or stocking feet. My new clients are always curious and ask me why. Is there a particular reason why you are in your bare feet?…my answer is no, there is no real reason apart from the fact that it’s really comfortable and grounding at the same time.
Are you all in your head? Are you overanalysing everything so that rational goes out the window? This is what I call headless chicken syndrome….it can also be “I can’t think of anything”, “I forget what I was going to say”… “I feel so overwhelmed with all I have to do I just don’t know where to start”…”I have so much on my mind”…”its [Read more...]

At some point in our lives we can all experience some form of anxiety e.g. before a big event…going to the dentist, an interview, a presentation, confrontation, going through a stressful situation, feeling endangered or threatened and so on. It can lead onto sweaty palms, sweaty armpits, sweaty forehead, increased heartbeat, knots in the tummy, feeling of the urge to urinate or to run to the loo, muscle tension, sense of panic, flutter and alarm, feeling of nausea, headaches etc. The body recovers quickly when it is only something which happens occasionally. Once upon a time a girl took a fit of sneezing as soon as she had finished eating…her eyes filled with water, her nose was stuffed and blocked, her lower back was stiff, tense and felt twisted…all until she had a Kinesiology treatment. The difference was simply unbelievable.

Suffering from vague and mild intestinal upsets to debilitating fatigue and intolerances to food and environmental substances such as cosmetics, cleaning agents, perfumes and so on. This may be due to gut imbalance or intestinal dysbiosis.
In healthy intestines /gut the body contains over 400 different kinds of micro-organisms all living within a delicate balance within their own ecosystem. In other words this system works perfectly happy independently without any issues until we cause an imbalance. Stress on an ongoing basis creates acid in the body and promotes floral imbalance. No it’s not heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, or any other common disease that you can think of …It is self esteem!or lack of it. Experts now say that the underlying cause of so much discomfort, pain and ill health actually stems from poor self esteem.
This is something I can verify as sooner or later no matter what symptom my clients present themselves with more often than not roots back to lack of self confidence, lack of self worth and lack of self esteem. A brief & simple explanation is, Self confidence is the ability to be strong in yourself, believe in yourself and be able to stand up for yourself when circumstances [Read more...]

Can be a sign that you are stressed and burned out.
Bleeding and sore gums can be due to over enthusiastic brushing or gum disease such as gingivitis’s. More commonly it indicates you are suffering from long term stress and may be burned out and run down and in need of some rest and relaxation or you may be lacking Vitamin C and bioflavonoids.
Smoking, stress, worry, reduced immunity can all deplete your body of some well needed Vitamin C.
